Lovely artwork and display-ready

Challenging and rewarding build
Finished this 1000-piece Great Wave after about three days of working a bit each day. The broad expanses of blue require patience, but the pieces are sturdy, the print is bright, and the completed image is frame-worthy.

Enjoyable but color-repeat can be tricky
Picked this up because I love the image and puzzles. Lots of similar blues and greys make it a bit difficult, though the pieces fit smoothly and the colors are sharp. We haven’t completed it yet; the box doesn’t show the full picture but a paper poster is included.

Ocean motion, steady Fuji — some cut issues
The dynamic waves and steady Mt. Fuji create a pleasing contrast, and the warm boat tones pop against the cool water. Piece shapes vary enough to help placement. Cardboard is thin but durable; we had a couple pieces not fully cut and one bent tip that we repaired with glue. The image is well adhered; note the colored zones on the back if that bothers you.
